Child Find

FDLRS Child Find Specialists, in coordination with school districts, locate young children who are potentially eligible for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA).

FDLRS Child Find provides diagnostic screening, placement coordination, training, and support to parents of young children who have or are at risk of developing disabilities.

Child Find offers information and FREE SCREENINGS for children 3 to 5 years of age, who have not yet entered Kindergarten, with medical needs, or who may have difficulty with learning, speaking, behaving, seeing, walking, listening, and sensory needs.
